Hello. I am planning on buying Sony Ericsson Cedar to use on my Kubuntu laptop in India. While googling for compatibility I came across your site. It seems you are in telecom industry as well.
Translating your entry via Google translate gives: "To Sony Ericsson Cedar (J108i) added to Ubuntu via the "Bluetooth Preferences" to connect through 3G. In the screenshot looks and speed (shows up quite well!)."
Is it possible only in Ubuntu or in Kubuntu as well? Can you please tell me whether it is safe to buy Sony Ericsson Cedar so that I can use it on Kubuntu for internet? In my village I have no wired broadband currently so I have to rely on wireless network only. Thanks.
